Hurricane season
MarketPlace, as always, is carried out once the Hurricane Season is over. Particularly the 2017 season is among the worst recorded with 17 strong storms, 10 of which became hurricanes, including Harvey, Irma and Maria considered the most intense and destructive, which caused 441 deaths and damage by 369,000 million dollars.

The Doubletree by Hilton Miami Airport hotel that operates with the MACC (Miami Airport Convention Center) was recovered and able to accommodate attendees of more than 1,000 work MarketPlace Americas meetings. Buyers and Sellers
Manufacturers from all over the world, were very satisfied with the group of buyers companies, which were chosen by a recognized and expert Selection Committee and are considered as the most active, representative and prestigious firms in each country in Latin America, as well as, there were present large retailers and distributors from the United States, Canada and the European Union, which constituted a kind of extra bonus.

In just a couple of meetings days, vendors made as many contacts as they would have invested a year of work, travel, research and uncertainty, but above all tens of thousands of dollars. Time, effort and money saved in a single MarketPlace, whose ROI is gotten with the first sale.

On the other hand, as a complement and coincidence, Buyers expressed their satisfaction with the selection of suppliers and the wide-ranging categories of products for school, office, art and hobby. Many negotiations were started for distribution of recognized brands, as well as quotations and quantities’ projections for OEM. Even more, some of the buyers, had already placed their orders during the same days of intense work of the event.
